Who You Whit Benefit

The WHOYOUWHIT Benefit Redfish Tournament and Party will be held October 10th, 2026 in Edisto. It is a fun event to raise awareness and funds for a serious cause; mental health awareness. This event was started in 2021 after Whit Nelson, a former Edisto resident and employee at Pressley’s at the Marina, took his life at age 18. He was an avid fisherman and loved exploring the waters of the low country.

Our goals are to raise money for Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing of Charleston and MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital Arts and Healing and to Increase Mental Health Awareness.
